Kinda sucks hitting an unprecedented hiatus just after my one year mark. Didn’t realize I had too much on my plate (college stuff wise) when I did, plus the fact that my laptop wigged out on me kinda made it hard to manage both my school work and this blog. I guess it was a good thing I swore off the episodic posting for a while ’cause if I didn’t I’d be way way behind, lol. I do feel bad about going off the ani-blog radar these past few weeks though. Even writing this update feels a bit awkward when I haven’t logged in for almost a month now (I was afraid at how dusty my dashboard would be)
To my fellow ani-bloggers, do these “dry spells” ever happen to you too? How do you cope with it?
So yeah, just letting you guys know what’s up. Still have some academic stuff to cleave through but I’ll be back soon. ‘Till then ^_^
☑ At the same time, get around to finishing Revolutionary Girl Utena
That’s two out of thirteen down. It was awesome to finally cross Bamboo Blade out of my never-ending list. To finish Utena is also very very fulfilling, I think. Something that I’d almost consider a “must watch”. I’m almost halfway through Kannagi, and also eleven episodes in to Gundam SEED. As for the “Cover more than one show during the Spring 2012 season” I’ve decided to cover Sankarea and Tasogare Otome x Amnesia, effective come next week. For a multitude of reasons, I decided not to cover Medaka Box (for now at least). Yumestate’s Anime Watcher’s Club is also well underway (check it out here and here) I’m gonna check that out after we finish Aoi Bungaku. So yeah, I’m way past the midway point of April with a lesser amount of progress than I had hoped for, but I think I can make it ^^
To those who may have noticed, I haven’t posted anything lately. The past few weeks were pretty rough at school alongside some personal matters, and I couldn’t get the free time that I wanted so I could write. No worries though, all is well again, and I’ll be making posts this coming week.
On a different note, according to MAL I have now officially watched 100 anime titles (yeah, it ain’t a lot yet, but it’s still awesome to know) And what show completed the list? None other than the recently finished Steins;Gate. Very awesome.
