Sankarea: A pleasant surprise
Medaka Box: So it begins..
Starting up Spring 2012 for me is this here first episode of Nisio Isin’s famous/infamous manga, Medaka Box. And boy was I psyched for this one ^^
Summer Checklist
The first of April marks the official start of my two-month summer break, and with that, I decided to make a list of things I hope to accomplish within that duration.
The Appeal of Episodic Anime
It’s the last day of March and I find myself both drowsy and for the most part bored. I did manage to cull my “plan-to-watch” list over the week but these past few days have just been so static (though it may be because I haven’t adjusted to not having anything to do). To alleviate these feelings I went with a sort-of last resort past-time for me – watch random episodes of any series that I have. Intriguingly, I almost, always found myself going for shows with an episodic format.
Your “Ice Breaker” Anime
To be able to talk about anime with people you know is fun. One thing that’s awesome about being an anime fan here in the Philippines, especially in the ages of 16, 17-ish to, I guess, a bit above 20, is that, there’s a relatively high probability that you can strike up a conversation with anime with a person you just met.
Nisemonogatari: The end, and what may come after
Here it is, *sigh* the last episode of everyone’s balanced dose of fanservice and plot >.<
My Spring 2012 Lineup
I’ve now just realized that I didn’t make a lineup post for Winter, which, I kinda feel bad about, given how surprisingly good the season was. This Spring however, looks rather promising, if not more so than how Winter was promising.
This is just gonna be a quick rundown of the shows I’m planning to pick up, why I want to watch them, and my concerns about ’em. With that, let’s get this list going.
Nisemonogatari: Well, I got what I asked for
Nisemonogatari: Where is Tsukihi!?
It’s supposed to be her arc after all. In exchange however, we are introduced to two new and relatively intriguing characters.
